Path & Green is a non profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to provide hope and a future to Lorain County girls in need by ending hygiene insecurity and period poverty.
We partner with local school districts and community-serving organizations to provide personal care items. Beyond meeting their basic needs, Path & Green wants girls to know they are worthy, loved, valued.

THE NEXT DISTRIBUTION OF KITS WILL BE IN APRIL 2026. We will begin shipping to them again in the Fall of 2026.

Path & Green works in partnership with multiple local school districts and organizations in Lorain county to provide hygiene kits. For the 2nd school year, Crafting Change is helping by providing cosmetic bags to put products in.

1) Cosmetic Bags - You can use any pattern for cosmetic bags. The recommended size is 7"x9" or 9"x7". This size holds just the right amount of supplies. Please see our pattern section below for our suggested patterns!

Boxed bottoms are always welcome and preferred, but not required.
​
Fabrics:
Nothing babyish and nothing old-fashioned. These are tween and teen girls.
Use fun, bright fabric.
Use licensed prints.
No fabrics with references to drugs, alcohol or inappropriate sayings or words.
Nothing political or religous in nature.

shipping guidelines
The next school distribution is April, 2026. Please hold on to any bags you make over the summer and begin shipping in September 2025 for 25/26 school year. As the school year goes on, there is no rush to ship quickly, feel free to sew and ship whenever you have a box full as they only distribute once per year in April. However, please tally as you go.
