How We Are Helping
-
Fiddlers
These are small, hand-held pillows with a small item placed inside. They are used during inpatient therapy sessions to help children engage and participate more effectively. -
Blankets
We create sewn blankets for both children and adults in the inpatient units. These blankets offer comfort to children dealing with mental health issues away from their families or foster homes, and serve as incentives for cooperation and participation. For adults, the blankets provide comfort during their stay. Note: Only sewn blankets are permitted; knit or crochet items are not allowed. -
Tote Bags & Backpacks
-
Tote Bags: Provided to adults and children upon discharge from inpatient care, offering a dignified way to carry their belongings.
-
Backpacks: Given to adults in the street outreach outpatient program after they attend three appointments, these bags offer long-term utility and dignity.
